The twin suns that castigates the dry soil of the planet are about to set.

That would be a relief if we are not trying to track the big robots path. We have seen them more than once walking in tetrahedron formation, grassing between the rocks.
But we still don't have a clue about what they are looking for or their relation with the huge silent towers we found in this region of the planet.

----------------------------------------------------

Sorry about the resolution guys...
The Target Evaluation System has a much better one, but
these images transmitted on line to the base for tracking must be small to keep the real time tracking system accurate. If the rescue team ever find out some trace of
field team or the TES I will try to grab some hi-res images.
But till now they found nothing...

Technical
TG2 and PS-CS2 for small after effects.
3D Models: Done in Sketchup and imported nicely in TG2.

1 procedural terrain
2 surface shaders 1 fake rocks layer
2 suns from different directions and colors
(2nd one is at same high but 35deg right and redder,
it is almost unnoticeable but is important for the overall
lightning effect)

The fantastic alien robts are:

Hi thanks.

Yes, it is more complicated but worths the effort. Follow some tutorials for starting and you will be used to it soon. Good luck.

Hi,

Amazing work.

Lately I've seem several great Digital Sci-Fi works with very few page views. Lots of people who will love it don't have the chance to see.

Most of the Sci-Fi clubs I found in DA are dedicated to TV series or movie fans.

I would like to invite you to join us in a new (just starting) Sci-Fi club dedicated
to any kind of digital picture on the sci-fi theme. I hope we can join people that
produce and like to see astounding images.

If interested please go to [link] and read the journal for info.

================

If for any reason do you don't want to join us, do you think you can authorize the club to display only this image? It is very good indeed.

Cheers.

Nice job man. Didn't know you could import SU-models in Terragen!
Reply
:iconbvcastilho3d:
Thanks. Glad you liked.

Yes, SU models works ok most of the times. Sometimes the
textures appears a little strange, specially when you have 2 sided
surfaces and not solids.

You need to export the SU model to .obj format and simply
import in TG. You can fix or change the materials inside TG also.

Cheers.
