The sea was extremely calm last night when we stopped the boat for sleeping a little. We heard nothing but the small waves against the boat hull.
In the morning it was there, just standing out of the water - steady and silent. The only sound now is of the wind in its tentacles(arms?wings?) and our fast beating hearts. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. I was fun to model the tendrils. I started with a few ones but started to increase the complexity and couldn't stop. I liked the overall effect. It was done with C4D matrix extrude tool.
